Six small hamlets make up the picturesque and unspoilt parish of Doddington and District situated 5 miles South of Nantwich in Cheshire: Blakenhall, Bridgemere, Checkley, Doddington, Hunsterson and Lea.
The parish is widespread, rural and dominated by farming. It is proud to have a good primary school, church and a new village hall. The community is made up of just over two hundred households with around 500 residents.
Other features of the area are Nantwich and Border Counties Sailing Club which sail on Doddington Estate Lake, Bridgemere Garden World, the Doddington Estate with the imposing hall dating back to 1798 and numerous small businesses which all contribute to a thriving close knit community.
The Parish Council operate to support the community and visitors enabling all to enjoy the tranquillity and beauty of this parish.
